Free Chore Charts For Kids
It’s no secret that kids love seeing the results of their hard work, don’t we all? One of the best ways that many parents have found to get kids to clean their rooms is by putting a chore chart up on the bedroom door. Of course you can add other chores to the chart such as dishes and cleaning up the living room but if it’s a clean bedroom that you desire consider adding chores such as “Fold Clothes”, “Put Clothes Away” and “Put Toys In Toy Box”.
Keeping It Simple
Your idea of a clean bedroom may be different than the idea that your kids have in mind. By writing out each step that the children may take to accomplish a clean room you are giving them a no-excuses guided blueprint of how to accomplish a clean room. In addition to having a lack of excuses you are also teaching them what is to be expected.
While it’s true that we all like to see the results of our hard work it’s also true that we like to see those results quickly. Whether it’s balancing our budget to see debt being paid off at a faster rate or encouraging our kids to clean their room, faster rewards often mean you feel encouraged to keep up the hard work. That’s one of the reasons adding individual steps for the kids on their chore charts is such a great idea. They will feel encouraged knowing that they are accomplishing a lot. It’s not a bad idea to have a chore chart for each room of the house!
