Transform your home with these unbelievable DIY Home Projects using glue! Of course, there are other items involved, for example nails, screws and fixings. (make sure you visit the Tradefix Direct Website for more infomation) However, glue is the secret ingredient. You should check out a site like choosetoolbox.com for more information on what items to get for your home DIY.
I try to use up-cycled, re-cycled, and found items to keep DIY home projects more affordable. There are most often at least a few purchases to make, and usually requires some measuring, planning, hammering and painting . . . but always . . . the secret ingredient that changes the look and feel of these DIY home projects – is good old fashioned wood glue!
Unbelievable DIY Home Projects Using Glue
I’m so excited to share with you . . . these DIY home projects which have changed the feel of our home so drastically. These projects have taken spaces that were drab, dark, sometimes even dreary and turned them into bright, light, and unbelievably fabulous!
As always, my message is this – if I can do it . . . so can you. If you have an area in your home that is no longer working for you, or that DIY home project you have been putting off for way too long – I hope these detailed projects will help you see that you really can get the job done.
~ Just be sure to add glue!
Board and batten doesn’t have to be a pipe dream! With careful measurements (twice, of course), careful cutting (hopefully, only once), and a truck full of glue . . . this dream can (and has) become a reality.
Now that it is done, I’m not sure what I was so afraid of before I started this project. I put it off for far too long. It is one of the most rewarding DIY home projects I’ve done and adds both character and value to our home. Get the details and learn how to
glue install your very own board and batten here.
Another, near miraculous makeover took place in a once dark corner of the kitchen! These DIY open shelf plate racks came together easier than expected. The transformation from tall, chunky, dark cabinet to light, airy, to attractive open shelf display rack for plates (and other decor) made a huge difference in the kitchen area!
Once again, glue became the super hero that saved the day and added the finishing touches to bring this area into the light. Now, it can be changed out with the seasons and has become a central decorating space in our home. See all the instructions and see the big change for yourself here.
I’m here to tell you – this space went from a dark and dreary, flat out frightening place – to one that could make your mama proud! You’ll have to see and judge for yourself here, and the pictures will tell the story of the dingy hallway – the ugly duckling turned swan and a pantry to be proud of.
I want you to have a fabulous pantry too! You may be amazed at the simple tools used to create these handy shelves. Remember, the little details make a big difference – and glue will seal the deal.
Inspired by a friends small cabinet – this dead end space was transformed into a custom book case! A little paint, a lot of planning and scheming . . . and a whole lot of glue (along with a few other simple home project supplies) were used in the making of this custom unit.
One would never suspect it was made with left over wood, a few screws, and well, you know . . . GLUE!! Without the trim work and wood glue – this project, like many others, would be just a bookcase. WITH it – we get a fabulous custom designed bookcase that looks as though it was created specifically for the space. You know what? It was! It just didn’t require all the expense which usually accompanies such a piece. I love custom design items, I’m really tempted to get Cape Cod custom home builders to come and redo my house.
You too can be the proud owner of such a bookcase – if you will only believe . . . and follow the easy directions found here.
